Isaac H. Tuttle Fund Renews Funding for PAWS NY

The Isaac H. Tuttle Fund has awarded a $30,000 grant to PAWS NY. This is the foundation’s fourth year supporting the organization’s Housecall Program, with a specific focus on serving older people and pets in Manhattan.

“The Isaac H. Tuttle Fund has been an enormous help the last few years preserving the human-animal bond for so many people in Manhattan,” said PAWS NY Founder & Executive Director Rachel Herman. “By partnering to care for the companion animals of these individuals, we can help preserve these life-enhancing relationships.”

PAWS NY Receives Funding from The Irving and Phyllis Millstein Foundation for Animal Welfare

The Irving and Phyllis Millstein Foundation for Animal Welfare awarded a generous $50,000 grant to PAWS NY, once again supporting our programs that help to keep guardians and their pets together. Specifically, this grant will fund veterinary care, pet food and supplies, grooming, training, and transport to vet appointments for pet guardians across New York City. As a long-time supporter, the Foundation has provided generous funding for a variety of areas, and we are grateful for their continued commitment.

Petco Love Awards PAWS NY $1,000 Grant

Pets Are Wonderful Support (PAWS) NY recently received a $1,000 grant from Petco Love, a national nonprofit leading change for pets by harnessing the power of love to make communities and pet families closer, stronger, and healthier. Since its founding in 1999, Petco Love has invested $330 million in adoption and other lifesaving efforts. Petco Love helps find loving homes for pets in partnership with Petco and more than 4,000 organizations—like PAWS NY—across North America, with 6.5 million pets adopted and counting.

Thanks to Petco Love for this support. Together, we’re partnering to save pet lives and help keep families together!

PAWS NY Receives Funding from The Slomo and Cindy Silvian Foundation

The Slomo and Cindy Silvian Foundation has once again awarded PAWS NY a generous grant. The $27,500 grant will help with ongoing expansion of our Housecall Program in the outer boroughs of New York City.

“The Slomo and Cindy Silvian Foundation has always been a supportive funder, especially when it comes to growing our Housecall Program,” said Rachel Herman, Founder and Executive Director of PAWS NY. “The human-animal bond is so important to all of our clients. The Anna-Maria and Stephen Kellen Foundation has awarded PAWS NY a generous $50,000 grant to support the organization’s work.

A Kinder World Foundation, which has supported PAWS NY for several years, has once again awarded the organization a generous grant. The grant will support the continued expansion of PAWS NY’s Housecall Program, with a particular focus on volunteer recruitment and training in the outer boroughs.
