Housecall Program
The Housecall Program is our core program through which volunteers provide on-site home visits to our participants. PAWS NY helps with:
- Dog walking
- Litter maintenance
- Medication administration
- Provision of food and water
- Pet Food and Supplies
- Vet care
- And more

Foster and Emergency Care
PAWS NY provides emergency foster or pet care for New Yorkers facing health and other crises:
- Hospital Respite, for individuals who are hospitalized or in a physical rehabilitation facility
- Substance Use Recovery, for individuals seeking inpatient treatment for substance use
- Domestic Violence Survivors, for individuals seeking a safe environment for themselves and their pets

Pet Pantry
We host free pet food distribution events across New York City. For some, this support means their beloved companion has food to eat that month — something that might not have been possible otherwise. We've hosted events in Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, and the Bronx, and one of our events was even featured on Extraordinary World with Jeff Corwin on CBS!
In addition to these public events, we continue to deliver free pet food and supplies directly to participants in our Housecall Program.

Pets Are Wonderful Support (PAWS) NY brinda servicios a los neoyorquinos más vulnerables que necesitan apoyo con el cuidado de sus mascotas debido a los obstáculos físicos y financieros que enfrentan, ayudando específicamente a personas mayores de edad y a personas que viven con enfermedades o discapacidades, y que son de bajos recursos.
Nuestra Misión
La misión de PAWS NY es ayudar a que los residentes más vulnerables de La Ciudad de Nueva York permanezcan con sus mascotas. Esto lo logramos a través de programas y servicios críticos donados por medio de una comunidad de voluntarios y de organizaciones asociadas. Nuestros programas ayudan a que las mascotas permanezcan en sus casas y a la vez, protegen y promueven el vínculo humano-animal que es tan físicamente y psicológicamente valioso para nuestros clientes. Por eso, nuestro lema es: al ayudar a las mascotas, ayudamos a las personas.
