Lucky & April: Bonded Pair Needs Fur-Ever Home

Meet Lucky and April, a pair of cats that lived with and loved their guardian, Doris, for much of their lives until she sadly passed away at the end of last year. They’ve been taken care of by amazing volunteer fosters since then, but we are now looking for their permanent home!

This photo is of April, a white & black cat sits on a blanket, looking at the camera. She is mostly black, with white around her face & nose, and down the front of her body.

This photo is of Lucky, a black cat with wide eyes and long white whiskers, who turns his head to look at the camera. He has a little bit of white on his chin and paws.

Lucky is a male tuxedo cat, neutered, and 10 years old. April is a female Domestic Short Hair, neutered, and 8 years old. Both are up to date on shots with no health issues.

Lucky and April are nervous around new people and it will take them both a while to feel comfortable in a new environment so we are looking for a relatively quiet home with no other pets or young children. They like to have safe places to hide around the apartment and are usually together.

These gentle souls have slowly been getting more comfortable in their foster home and coming out to interact with their foster mom so we need someone who can continue to show them patience and love.

If you’re interested in adopting Lucky and April, please send a completed Adoption Application to Program Manager Cristina Nieves Quinn at [email protected].
