Read more about Glenn in his Q&A below!

Do you have any pets of your own? Did you grow up with pets? Tell us about them!
I do! I have three dogs. Two of them are sister Anatolian shepherd/Great Pyrenees mixes – Winter and Ember. I also have a paralyzed 18 year old Havanese named Ernie. I love them all!

What is your connection to PAWS NY? Why is this cause important to you?

I’m a veterinarian who always tries to help people and animals in need. I actually ran the 2023 NYC marathon for PAWS NY last year and I’m hoping to beat my time this year!

How long have you been running? What are some of your favorite places to run?

I started in 2019 to get in better shape before I turned 50, then COVID hit and there was nothing else to do, so I just kept running… There’s a park near me with a great 5K trail run and I also like running at Island Beach State Park.

What do you do in your free time (besides run)?

In addition to long distance running I also love to do bicycle/run duathlons – I even finished one triathlon that had kayaking for the first leg! Also fun fact – I have been to Alaska every other year since 2010 volunteering as a trail veterinarian for the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race!
