The Irving and Phyllis Millstein Foundation for Animal Welfare Provides Instrumental Grant to PAWS NY!

We are thrilled to announce that The Irving and Phyllis Millstein Foundation for Animal Welfare has provided a grant in the amount of $82,080 to help PAWS NY grow its impact. Funds will be used to renew support for program staffing and veterinary care. In addition, funds will also go toward the hiring of the organization’s first full-time Development position.

PAWS NY Founder and Executive Director Rachel Herman said, “Investing in these critical areas will go a long way in ensuring PAWS NY’s long-term success. We are grateful to The Irving and Phyllis Millstein Foundation for Animal Welfare for understanding the needs of our growing organization and for its generous support to meet those needs.”

Since 2015, the Foundation has provided funding for staffing and veterinary care. And in 2018, the Foundation also issued a three-year grant to PAWS, totaling $90,000, in support of our move from Brooklyn to Manhattan.
